Leading supplier of video incident detection software
Charlottesville, VA, October 5, 2009:

Prescient Group, LLC, has been a leading supplier of video incident detection software for use in general security, and intelligent transport including highways. In response to a discerned vital market need to provide effective surveillance tools for both Homeland Security and shipping companies that make up the maritime industry, a concerted effort was initiated in late 2008 to develop a software that worked in the constantly changing marine environment without producing unnecessary false alerts. Now, as a result of this technical development, Prescient Group recently introduced a Maritime Module for it’s leading edge iSentry surveillance software. Now for the first time in the history of the security industry, an analytic software product is available that works in the challenging marine environment. Like all versions of iSentry, this module permits a real-time, proactive, vice reactive or forensic response to waterborne threats. This version of iSentry excels in a marine setting and has been enthusiastically received by the Military Sealift Command and others for use in ports and harbor protection. Port authorities, shipping and multimodal cargo handlers, as well as government agencies with responsibility for protecting our coasts, shipping lanes, and cargo terminals may contact Prescient Group’s President, Charles Barber for more information on the iSentry Maritime Module. Please call 434-970-7775 for information or to schedule a demonstration.
